The man who died in a fire at his home in calle Goya, San Roque, early on Sunday morning has been identified as 46 year old R.S.A., a man who suffered from morbid obesity.
The fire started at around 07:45 on Sunday morning in the lounge of the house, consuming a sofa and a desk and filling the other rooms with smoke.
The victim was found in the bathroom and died as a result of smoke inhalation.
