The National Police in Málaga have arrested 49 year old Dean Lawrence Rice, a British national listed by the British authorities and the charity Crimestoppers on their ‘most wanted’ list.
Rice, described as very dangerous, has two life sentences pending for kidnapping and illegal detention and fled to the Costa del Sol to try and evade justice. He took refuge in a rural urbanisation in Málaga, rarely going out in order to avoid being recognised by local neighbours.
Just two days earlier, another person on the UK’s ‘most wanted’ list was also detained, Dutch national Everardus Wijtvliet.
