A 70 year old man died on Saturday afternoon in La Pedriza after being attacked by a cow while out walking with his wife and granddaughter.
It is not known whether the trio entered a farmer’s field or if the cow and her calf had escaped, but the incident appears to have occurred when the granddaughter went to pet the calf.
Medics spent thirty minutes trying to revive the man, who was in cardiopulmonary arrest, but to no avail.
