A 19 year old youth was seriously injured and spent three days in Intensive Care after an apparently motiveless assault in the Campanillas area of Málaga.
The youth and his girlfriend were parked in the area known as Hacienda Segovia in the Campanillas district of Málaga and were watching a DVD when a man and two women walked past their vehicle.
The man then apparently returned and, without a word having been exchanged, smashed the car window with an iron bar. He then reached in through the window and began stabbing the youth.
One of the stab wounds was to the abdomen and this caused damage to internal organs. Several people informed the Emergency Services of the incident, which happened at around 02:15 last Saturday morning, and an ambulance arrived on the scene.
After his condition was stabilised, the youth was transferred to the ICU of the Hospital Clínico in Málaga.
A police investigation into the incident has already led to the identification of a possible suspect.
