Council of Ministers gives go-ahead to tendering process for sewage plant

The Council of Ministers has apparently given the go-ahead to the start of the tendering process for the proposed €41 million sewage treatment plant in Nerja. The project has been declared one of ‘General Interest to the State’.

Brilliant news, Hope it becomes a reality sooner rather than another form of political words.
Nerja deserves to be the picturesque sewage free resort it portrays and I long to bathe in waters that are not subject to the brown slick i have come accustomed to as a regular summer visitor to nerja.
I hope it becomes more lavender than loo roll once the sewage plant is completed.
It may help the, Poor Pizza Busines as described in the thread “Pizzas and Pongs”.
I watch the progress of the sewage plant saga with “Baited breath”.
