Three people died and two others were slightly injured following a head-on collision on the AP-4 in Dos Hermanas, Sevilla.
At 23:45 on Wednesday night, a car travelling on the wrong side of the road collided head-on with a lorry at km 16 on the AP-4. The driver of the car was killed on the spot but the lorry driver escaped unhurt.
The accident caused an SUV to stop in the road but it was rear-ended by a following vehicle unable to stop in time. The impact forced the SUV off the road and it overturned, killing the 70 year old driver and his 37 year old son, both residents of Sevilla.
The occupants of the car, a man and woman in their twenties, suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Hospital Virgen de Valme in Sevilla.
