Barcelona won their fourth Champions League with am impressive 3-1 victory over Manchester United at Wembley, Lionel Messi scoring his first goal on English soil.
United started well, dominating the first ten minutes but it was Barcelona who took the lead through Pedro. Rooney equalised but the Catalans were starting to dominate the game.
Messi gave Barcelona the lead again at the start of the second half and David Villa cracked in a third to virtually put the end result beyond dispute with twenty minutes remaining. A trademark comeback was never on the cards, despite Rooney having a very good game.
