Police have found the body of 28 year old Rosa G.M., who was reported missing on Monday after failing to turn up at work.
The body, showing signs of violence, was discovered in a ravine in Tabernas.
Rosa G.M. set off for work on Monday but never turned up and her parents later reported her missing and a search was started in and around her home town of Fines, Almería. Her ex-husband, Oscar P.F., was arrested shortly after being questioned by police on suspicion of involvement in her disappearance.
Rosa G.M. and Oscar P.F., who have a young daughter, separated two years ago. It has emerged that the relationship was ‘tense’ and various people had suggested that Rosa should denounce her husband following various episodes and incidents but she declined to do so for the sake of their daughter.
On the day of the disappearance, Oscar P.F. had been spotted in a car with Rosa during the morning. He also made a trip to Baza for treatment of a wound to his hand. However, he maintains that he got the wound on the Sunday during dinner.
