At least four women and two babies are thought to be missing from a boat carrying illegal immigrants which arrived in Motril early this morning.
The boat carrying 50 sub-Saharans was intercepted in the early hours of Thursday morning. On board were 50 passengers, including four babies and several women, one of whom was in an advanced state of pregnancy.
However, the authorities believe there could be four women and two babies unaccounted for.
All the passengers were in apparent good health.
