A 40 year old Guardia Civil officer died on Friday after being hit by a motorcycle on the AP-7 near Silla, Valencia.
The incident occurred at around 16:30 on Friday afternoon. The officer was part of a patrol carrying out routine controls on the toll road when he was hit by a motorcycle. He was taken to the Hospital La Fe in Valencia but later died from his injuries.
It is not yet known exactly how or why the incident occurred and an investigation is being carried out.
