An electricion in his sixties died on Wednesday afternoon while carrying out work in plaza de la Constitución in the town of Torres, Jaén province.
The incident occurred at 14:40, the man receiving an electrical shock while working in an area behind the municipal swimming pool. The Guardia Civil, an ambulance and helicopter, medics and members of the Labour Inspectorate all arrived on the scene but nothing could be done to save the life of the man.
