Matador Iván Fandiño has been seriously injured during a bullfight in Málaga, suffering a 25 centimetre wound to his right leg.
The matador was performing at the bullring in La Malagueta when he was gored during his contest with his second bull. The wound is a 25 centimetre upward incision to a depth of 15 centimetres and has affected the skin, subcutaneous tissue and numerous muscles in the leg and thigh.
The prognosis is ‘grave’.
