A newborn baby found abandoned on calle Cuesta del Visillo in Torre del Mar early this morning is doing well according to doctors at the Hospital Comarcal de la Axarquía.
The large baby girl was found in calle Cuesta del Visillo with the umbilical cord still attached and part of the placenta. A bag of clothes was also left with the baby.
The National police have opened an investigation.
