The body of a ten month old baby has been found in the rio Ebro in Logroño after apparently been thrown in by the mother’s partner.
Although an investigation is still ongoing, it is thought that the mother, a 17 year old Rumanian national, was involved in an argument with her partner who then threw the baby girl into the river.
The partner has been arrested after handing himself in to the police.
