Customs officers have so far arrested six people and seized two tons of hashish in an operation carried out in the waters around Cádiz.
Aerial reconnaissance located a ship loading packages onto four smaller boats in the waters off Cádiz. Two of the boats were intercepted in Chipiona and the other two on their way to Huelva.
Drugs were found in three of the boats, hidden in false bottoms of the vessels. The total haul was two tons of hashish resin.
Six men have so far been detained but further arrests are not being ruled out.
