There have now been four domestic fatalities since Sunday after a woman died last night in Valencia, allegedly stabbed by her partner.
The incident occurred at 20:00 last night when the woman was stabbed several times by her partner. Severely wounded, she managed to call the police and was taken to the Health Centre in Puçol but later died from her injuries.
A total of 45 people have so far died this year at the hands of their partners or former partners and of these, eleven have occurred in Andalucia, seven in Madrid, seven in Valencia and six in Cataluña.
