At 19:30 on Saturday evening is the procession through the streets of the patron saints of Nerja, San Miguel Arcángel and Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, a prequel to the feria celebrations.
The image of San Miguel Arcángel will leave the El Salvador church and head towards the Ermita de la Virgen de las Angustias where the two images will meet up and then continue in procession back to the El Salvador church.
The procession will be accompanied by the Nerja Municipal Band and the Band of Drums and Bugles. As the image of San Miguel passes through calle Pintada it will be showered with flower petals.
The images will return to the streets on October 10th during the feria celebrations.
