The Government has allocated €49 million to subsideise the purchase of electric cars during 2012 with a maximum of €6,000 for cars, €15,000 for minibuses and €30,000 for buses.
The Government decided to extend the plan of aid for the purchase of electric vehicles since the demand for these funds during the current year has been low due to weak demand for such vehicles.
