Anyone still wishing to apply for a licence relating to the occupation of public roads – i.e. terraces for bars, restaurants and shops – has until December 15th to complete the formalities relating to the whole of 2012.
Applicants need to provide the appropriate form and required documentation, a sketch of the area to be occupied, dimensions of the pavement and width of area remaining for pedestrians.
The Local Police will then evaluate the requests and act accordingly, either granting or refusing the licence.
