Operation ‘Vaivén’ has resulted in the arrest of seven people and the dismantling of a marijuana greenhouse in the Asperones district of Málaga. The detainees are aged between 18 years and 41 years.
The greenhouse was situated inside a private residence and was equipped with a sophisticated infrastructure of artificial lighting, timers, humidifiers, plant feeding systems and even a radio that played flamenco music to the plants.
The greenhouse contained 359 marijuana plants and was attached to the public electricity network to avoid getting electricity bills.
Police also confiscated one and a half kilos of marijuana seeds, 25 grams of ocaine and €2,700 in cash.
Two of the detainees had been arrested three weeks ago in another operation, codenamed ‘Fango’.
