The town of Moraleda de Zafayona in Granada province has suffered eleven earthquakes within the past twenty-four hours, the strength varying from 1.5 to 2.3 on the Richter scale.
The strongest of the quakes, measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale, occurred at 06:30 on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, eleven kilometres away, Villanueva Mesía suffered six quakes ranging from 1.5 to 2.0 on the Richter scale.
