A 30 year old woman in Marchena has become the sixtieth domestic fatality of the year, stabbed in the neck by her former partner.
The incident occurred at around 21:00 on Tuesday evening when the former partner broke into the home of his former girlfriend, with whom he has a child, and attacked the woman and her new partner.
The woman suffered fatal stab wounds to the neck, the new partner suffered less serious injuries to the neck and is now in hospital in Osuna.
The alleged attacker was arrested within minutes of the incident by the Guardia Civil.
