National Police officers have detained a 54 year old American in Fuengirola who is wanted by the Spanish and Belgian authorities for fraud, money laundering and conspiracy.
The detainee is the subject of an arrest and detain warrant issued by the Spanish authorities in April 2010 and an International Arrest Warrant issued by the Belgian authorities in December 2007.
The man was arrested as he came out of a bakery in the Miramar area of Fuengirola and is now being held in custody.
