A 41 year old man is in hospital in Algeciras after receiving three gunshot wounds to the leg in what police believe was a ‘settling of accounts’.
The victim was in an underground parking garage in Tarifa when a man apparently opened fire with a pistol, shooting him three times in the leg. The victim is currently in the Hospital Punta Europa in Algeciras and is said to be stable and progressing well.
The victim is apparently ‘well known’ in the area and has served a prison sentence in the past, leading people to believe the incident could be the settling of old scores.
