Guardia Civil officers from Ceuta yesterday intercepted a zodiac carrying 1,831 kilos of cannabis resin with a value of around €2.68 million.
The zodiac was found drifting and unmanned about nine miles from Punta Almina in the Straits of Gibraltar and the heavy seas hampered the interception. On board were 59 bales of cannabis resin, making it the biggest haul of the year so far.
