Morning gripe. I thought the idea was to reduce paperwork and the number of photocopies being made. Having received a renewal invoice in my PO box which clearly states ‘just bring this form’, I queued for half an hour at the post office to pay the required amount. They do say, incidentally, that you can pay the bill via bank, although they do not give their bank details, you have to make a separate trip to ask for those details! Duh.
Having queued, it seems that now, after all these years, you have to provide photocopies of DNI etc just to pay a bill!
No doubt when I return with the photocopies demanded they’ll ask for something else. Think I’ll take a copy of the Zimbabwe constitution just in case….or to wind them up.
