A man died and a 68 year old woman was injured on Saturday in a fire at their home in Pozo del Sindicato, about six kilometres from Belalcázar in Córdoba province.
The fire occurred at around 18:40 on Saturday. The injured woman was transferred to the Hospital de Alta Resolución (Chare) in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo.
Initial indications are that the fire was set deliberately and a police investigation is under way.
