Fish inspectors have seized 237 kilos of undersized fish in Caleta de Vélez in the municipality of Vélez-Málaga.
The fish were found in several vehicles and there was an absence of documentation such as proof of origin, quality control and health certificates etc.
Seized were 231 kilos of hake with an average size of 10 centimetres, the legal minimum being 20 centimetres, and 6 kilos of immature mackerel.
