According to the Council, Nerja will shortly have both a school and employment workshop, each covering areas such geriatric care, service dynamisation, citizen information and attention, gardening and stage design.
The start date of these workshops is not yet known as it is dependent upon receiving financing from the Junta de Andalucia.
One would imagine this would not be forthcoming in the short-term as the Junta is preoccupied with the upcoming (March) elections, unless it is deemed important enough to be a vote winner.
