Fuengirola Council has launched an employment workshop in gardening maintenance which will cater for a total of fifteen unemployed in the municipality.
22 people benefit from employment workshop
The Serrezuela employment workshop in Rincón de la Victoria will see 22 people under the age of 25 years receive training and practical experience in gardening and masonry.
Workshops for Nerja
According to the Council, Nerja will shortly have both a school and employment workshop, each covering areas such geriatric care, service dynamisation, citizen information and attention, gardening and stage design.
Nerja Council proposing two new workshops
The Council is requesting assistance from the Junta de Andalucia to set up two workshops in Nerja, an education workshop to be called ‘Nerja, Sierra-Mar’ and an employment workshop to be called ‘Acueducto del Águila’.
Employment training centre in 2011
Nerja should have an employment workshop next year which will be located at the Nerja Caves and will be jointly administered by the Council and the Nerja Caves Foundation.
