Four thieves, believed to be responsible for at least eight robberies, were arrested as they attempted to break into a mortuary in calle Papabellotas in Antequera.
Police are investigating the four individuals, three men and one woman, in relation to at least eight other robberies carried out in the area between January 25th 2011 and January 20th 2012.
The gang toured industrial areas early in the morning to find their targets. Three of the gang would break into warehouses or offices while the fourth member stayed with the vehicle and acted as lookout.
The gang would steal computers, electronic equipment and items of art. The detainees have a total of 29 prior arrests, mostly for breaking and entering.
