On Thursday February 9th at 20:30 there is a poetry recital by Karmelo Iribarren at the Municipal Exhibition Hall in calle Cristo, the show being part of the ‘Palabras en la noche’ series being organised by the Centro Cultural Generación del 27.
The performance will mark the start of collaboration between the Centro Cultural Generación del 27, a dependency of the Málaga Provincial Council, and the Nerja Council with new shows been put on each month.
Karmelo C. Iribarren was born in San Sebastián in 1959 and he is the author of such works as “La condición urbana”, “Serie B”, “Desde el fondo de la barra”, “La frontera y otros poemas”, “Ola de frío”, “Atravesando la noche” and “Otra ciudad, otra vida”.
He is currently working on a second edition, revised and expanded, of all his poetical works which first appeared in 2005 under the title “Seguro que esta historia te suena”.
