A 39 year old man died on Sunday from stab wounds to the chest, allegedly inflicted by his girlfriend.
The incident occurred between 16:40 and 16:50 on Sunday afternoon at the couple’s home in Avenida de Segovia, Valladolid. Neighbours called the police to request assistance for a man with a knife in his chest and bleeding from the abdomen.
Medics transferred the wounded man, 39 year old J.M.C.F., to hospital but he died very shortly afterwards.
Police arrested the man’s girlfriend, 42 year old M.L.F., as the alleged perpetrator. There was apparently a history of abuse within the family.
