Six street vendors specialising in the sale of strawberries have been arrested in Niebla, Huelva, on suspicion of stealing around 2,000 kilos of strawberries after being caught red-handed filching the fruit from a greenhouse.
After a series of robberies in the area, police increased surveillance of local farms and on March 6th detected two suspicious vehicles. However, the occupants managed to evade capture.
The next day they were not so lucky and the six men were discovered red-handed taking strawberries from a greenhouse and were duly arrested.
