The Noche en Blanco – White Night of Culture – has been brought forward one day and will now take place on May 18th 2012.
The change of date was requested by the Nerja Caves Foundation to coincide with International Museum Day, celebrated worldwide since 1977.
The deadline for the poster competition for the event has been extended to April 15th. Anyone who has already submitted an entry need not submit a new one with the revised date but in the event of an already submitted entry being declared the winner, then the poster will then have to be amended, naturally.
Events for the day, although not yet finalised, will take place in the Nerja Cultural Centre, Sala Mercado, Municipal Exhibition Hall, Balcón de Europa, Nerja Museum and the Iglesia El Salvador. The day will end with a big party in Plaza de España which is expected to continue until dawn.
During the time the events are taking place, entry to the Nerja Museum will be free.
