Friday March 30th was the deadline for municipalities to submit their adjustment plans in order to qualify for funding to pay off municipal debts to suppliers and many left it to the very last moment, some even failing to meet the deadline.
Sevilla left it late but did manage to submit their plan which includes a number of tax and fee increases for the next three years, a 5% reduction in the salaries for employees of the municipal cleaning and transport companies and the dissolution of two media organisations, Giralda Televisión and Sevilla Global.
