Police in Marbella have arrested a 43 year old man, born in Pakistan but with Danish nationality, under an international arrest warrant issued in Denmark relating to organised drug trafficking.
The detainee has been moved to Madrid pending extradition to Denmark. After his arrest, police seized several computers, telephones and documentation during a search of his house.
The detainee, initials N.A., is linked to a 20 kilo shipment of heroin seized at Copenhagen airport last month. The flight was coming from Pakistan and police detained one man who was carrying the drugs in a sports bag.
