A fire on the Cantarranas industrial estate in Coín, Málaga province, on Sunday badly damaged five warehouses covering a total area of 5,000 square metres.
The fire began at around 08:45 on Sunday morning and nine fire engines were involved in bringing the blaze under control which was finally achieved just before midday. Three of the buildings collapsed as a result of the fire.
The affected warehouses related to the manufacture and processing of timber and included sawdust silos and fuel storage areas. No-one was injured in the blaze.
