Following the success of the second Crafts Market held in Plaza de España on Saturday, the Council has decided to make this a regular monthly event. There were 50 stalls at the weekend with various handicrafts including wood carvings, jewelry, paintings, glassware and leather goods.

Pity that the Tuesday market is not held in Plaza de Espana. Tourists would love it, and they would find it easily. It would bring a lot of colour and life into the town centre.

That’s a wonderful idea. They would have to reduce, somewhat, the number of stalls but that’s possible since there is a lot of duplication. I have almost stopped going to the market completely since it’s been moved.

They only announced it would be a regular event but didn’t say on which Saturday it would happen, fairly normal. Am trying to find out when it will be.
