The Feria de Abril 2012 in Sevilla is over for another year but, although a success in some ways, attendances this year were much lower than normal, officials attributing this to the economic crisis, unemployment in the city and, to some extend, the inclement weather for part of the week.
The car parks were not full at any time during the feria week, meal times did not see the usual crowds and, according to the Council, the amount of rubbish collected was a record low.
