Ten policemen were amongst the injured during a brawl between families relating to a stall at the market in calle Clavel in Ayamonte, Torrejón.
Around sixty people were involved in the fight which resulted in five arrests and one man transferred to hospital with a stab wound to the side.
One of the policemen required stitches to a head wound and another suffered an injury to his spine after being kicked in the back. Police are also investigating whether shots were fired during the incident.
