A 37 year old Rumanian national has been arrested in Málaga on suspicion of domestic abuse and forcing his girlfriend to work as a prostitute.
The police investigation began back in April. The girlfriend came to Spain thinking she was going to be working in a restaurant belonging to a friend of her boyfriend. However, this turned out to be not the case and through abuse and threats against her and her family back in Rumania, she was forced into prostitution, both in private homes and on an industrial estate.
The detainee is 37 year old GT from Umbraresti in Rumania, and he was arrested upon arrival in Málaga airport after a trip back to his homeland.
