The coastline of the Axarquia, including Nerja, is now all buoyed up for the summer with the Association of Municipalities of the Costa del Sol, Axarquia having carried out the necessary work.

The buoys mark the area reserved for swimmers and within which boats, jetskis and other craft are not permitted to enter.
