The Association of Residents of Las Protegidas (the area around Plaza de Andalucia) have produced a guide book to the area entitled ‘At the Heart of Nerja’ (En el corazón de Nerja).
The guide book, in English and Spanish, gives a brief history of the area as well as providing information on activities and festivities taking place throughout the year and a list of shops and tapas bars in the neighbourhood.
There is also a map of the area and numerous photographs. The guide is available in the Nerja Tourist Office amongst other places.
