The Opposition groups in Torrox, PP, IU, PIU and PSA, have forced the modification of rates relating to the cost of renewing municipal taxi licences following complaints by the professionals in the town.
The rate had been increased to €600 but will now be €100. The Mayor of Torrox, Francisco Muñoz (PSOE), argued that when the ordinance was originally passed in 2006 there were no complaints.
