Two German nationals have been arrested in Ayamonte, Huelva, on suspicion of crimes against the public health after they were found with 303 kilos of cocaine.
The Guardia Civil became aware of a suspicious recreational craft that had arrived in Punta del Moral, possibly linked to drug smuggling and went to inspect the boat. However, they found that the boat had been put on a trailer and was being taken to Ayamonte.
The SUV towing the boat was located in Ayamonte and police asked the driver and passenger to accompany them to the police station. The boat was covered with a tarpaulin and underneath police found nearly 303 kilos of cocaine.
The investigation remains open.
