Opinion poll

According to a seemingly pointless Egopa opinion poll, if an election were to be held now in Andalucia it would result in a win for the PSOE-A by two points, with 39.76% to 37.62% of the votes. Not that winning or losing an election made any difference in March 2012.

According to the poll, 47% disapproved of the coalition between the PSOE-A and the IU and of these, 80% would have preferred a government composed of the majority or winning party, the PP.

The result of the poll would seem inevitable as any central government, and more particularly one having to impose drastic measures to rectify the overspending of a previous administration, is virtually certain to be unpopular, with this unpopularity filtering down to a regional or even municipal level.
