There was only one traffic fatality during the August 1st ‘operación salida’ conducted by the DGT in Andalucia.
The special operation by the DGT, coinciding with a considerable increase in traffic density, began at 15:00 on Tuesday July 31st and finished at 20:00 on Wednesday August 1st.
The only fatal accident occurred in Cuevas de Almanzora where a car collided head on with a van, resulting in the death of the driver of the car.
