Málaga CF, who finished fourth in La Liga last season, began their first ever Champions League campaign in great style, winning 2-0 at La Rosaleda in the first leg of their qualifying match 2-0 against Panathinaikos of Greece.
An almost packed La Rosaleda saw Demichelis and Eliseu put the Blue and Whites in a commanding position, both goals coming in the first half. Just the return leg to go!
