The Summer Basketball Tournament 2012, held each year during July and August, has come to an end and the winners were Cafetería La Plaza Academia de Idiomas Torrox, with B Algarrobo in second, Rincón de la Victoria third and Los jamaicas in fourth place.
The tournament is now dedicated to the memory of Juan Muñoz – Juani, as he was affectionately known by his teammates – and at the end of the tournament, his widow was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a poster from the competition. The awards ceremony was also attended by José Luis Muñoz, Juani’s brother.
